Located in a seaside city, the Citic Fengyue Tower is a testament to the new era of modern life. The design, inspired by science, technology, art, and nature, incorporates elements of sea waves, interpreting the idea of "all rivers run into sea" in a natural and effortless way. The design stands out for its use of lines and block surfaces, symbolizing the order and harmony of the new era and filling the space with infinite imagination.
The design realization technology of the tower is a blend of white gray and technical blue, with a modern style as the keynote. The design method of plane division is used to make the space design flexible and comfortable. Covering a total of 6500 square meters, the project combines lighting color, decoration structure, and modeling to achieve a decoration effect that is simple, bright, and in line with the psychological needs of contemporary people.
The design also features a warship reception desk, a nod to Dalian's major port and its docking with the Chinese navy fleet. Composed of natural ice white marble and golden stainless steel, the reception desk is a unique feature of the office space. The project, which started in December 2017 and finished in November 2019, was carried out entirely in Dalian.
One of the challenges faced in the design process was the selection of original works of art such as the sculpture "Moon" and "Floating City" by contemporary performers. These pieces were strategically placed to create an artistic movement line of space, increase interaction in communication, and create a sense of symbiosis between space design and people.
Ye Feng's Citic Fengyue Tower is a testament to the evolution of artistic expression means and aesthetics in society. It reflects social life and showcases people's sense of thought. The design, which was awarded Golden in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020, is a marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creation that advances art, science, design, and technology.
